Building my Media Center PC

For the last couple of weeks I have been noticing that I have had different parts laying around so that I could build an extra PC. What I needed to do was to pick up a motherboard and CPU with that I would have my own extra PC setup:-) Heck what I want do is to record the daily Simpsons episode on Channel Six here in Sweden:-) I have ordered the Intel Core i3 CPU, personally I would like to use the AMD Bulldozer platform but since that is not available it is not an option for me.

The other parts that I am installing is an GTX 460 (personally one of my favorite graphics cards and it will be fun to try it out more extensively), 8 GB RAM and 2 TB of hard drive space.

Of course this computer will be running Windows 7 Home Premium so that I can use Windows awesome Media Center functions:-) Other software utilities that will be used are iTunes and Zune. The first one I am using will be used for purchasing the latest TV episodes from the US. I have a couple of TV shows that I want to watch each and find it to be a perfect way to watch these episodes each week when they are shown:-)

Anyone of you using a media center? Let me know your stories in the comment section:-)

  1. After reading your blog post I browsed your website a bit and noticed you aren’t ranking nearly as well in Google as you could be. I possess a handful of blogs myself and I think you should take a look here: http://dominateseowithwordpress.com You’ll find it’s a very nice tool that can bring you a lot more visitors. Keep up the quality posts

  2. I have learned newer and more effective things from a blog post. One other thing I have recognized is that generally, FSBO sellers can reject anyone. Remember, they would prefer to not ever use your providers. But if you maintain a gradual, professional connection, offering guide and being in contact for four to five weeks, you will usually be able to win an interview. From there, a house listing follows. Thank you
