Sony Ericsson recently released the X10 Mini and here in Sweden it has been successful. Soon they will be releasing the X10 Mini Pro . To accompany the release of the X10 Mini and Pro, SE released the MS450 a portable speaker for the X10 Mini Series. The perfect accessory for playing music on the beach or in the park. I have tried it both indoors and outdoors so far and if you look at playing areas, the MS450 fits perfectly both indoors and outdoors.

Truth to be told I did not expect that it would sound that good, but it does sound surprisingly good. Just take a look at the video below and tell me your impressions What is cool is that when you insert it into the Sony Ericsson port at the bottom of the X10 Mini it just straight works.

What is cool about these speakers is that you when you want to carry them with you can attach them together with the built in magnet. They are just not an ordinary pair of speakers, you can control the music player on the phone with it. If you are the sharing type of person you can share music by starting to play the music again. Just tell your friends that they are on a speakerphone:-) If you want to change to the next song you tap once more.

One thing that is important to see on a pair of speakers is the quality on the material. The version that Sony Ericsson sent to me is a prerelease version, but honestly I cannot see any difference. I made the trip to my local electronics store to check out a retail sample in person and it did not disappoint me.

The size is impressive. If you are going on a vacation I have found out that it is the perfect size for having in your backpack. I am carrying it in my backpack ‘gearbag’ all the time.

If you tap the button that you see in the picture below you can both send and recieve calls. This button is well located and allowed for easy access for the users.  One thing that I am often thinking about when looking at buttons is that they are either designed for persons with small fingers or persons with big fingers but this one works for both. I handed them to my sister and she said that this worked great for her. Good recommendation from a 17 year old:-)

Conclusion: A really good pair of speakers.It has truly surprised me in audio quality. If you are looking for a portable speakers for your X10 Mini device this is the one that you have to get. Right now these have a permanent place in my backpack.
