Today I recieved the Jawbone 2 from Aliph. Ever since 2008 CES i’ve been a big fan of Jawbone. I remember the time I first saw the Jawbone and after that I ran to the nearest electronics store and bough it, but how does the Jawbone stack up? Does it brign the same great impression as the first Jawbone have done.

Im amazed by the fact that the Jawbone package has so many things included for you. You have the bluetooth headset, USB cable, AC Charger, instruction manual and extra ear loops. There is one sentence that I really like in the quick start guide “Yes, there is an AC adapter in the box”. The pairing process went extremly easy. All I had to do was to start up the headset for the first time and it was in search mode. The next part was to start up the blueooth software on my HP IPAQ 614 and start the pairing process. Within a couple of seconds the phone and the bluetooth headset was paired. So far so good.
The next step was to try and see how the call quality stacks up compared to the old first Jawbone. What I did here was to continue having the Jawbone 2 with my IPAQ 614 and pairing the old first Jawbone with my HP IPAQ 910c. I live in an are where the reception is usually not so good. I got better call quality with the Jawbone 2 then what I had with the first Jawbone.

Initial conclusion: I really like it. The features and hardware of this unit makes it a really atractive for me.

I came to this site from Google and just wanted to say that I appreciate the reviews you wrote about on this webpage. I am thinking about about buying one myself.
