Extending my wireless network……

One thing that I have noticed lately is that the quality on my wireless network has gone down a lot lately. Two examples that I have is that it takes more then four hours to download a tv show from iTunes and that I have to buffer a movie on YouTube.  Who buffers these days?  That’s the big question…  I have also tried to reset my network and re-configure it but that has not seemed to solve the issue.

I saw that Apple had done a refresh of the AirPort Express and that made me wonder is this something that I should get instead of the AirPort Extreme?  One thing that I have enjoyed with the Airport Extreme is the connectivity options on the back of it, it is an awesome feeling being able connect extra hard drives that I can connect to wirelessly.

The big question is do I need one or do I need two of these?  Actually I am leaning towards two because I live in a house that’s weirdly shaped and I do not think that I would get the maximum connectivity options with just one of these.  There is a lot things limiting connectivity when you live in an old house…

And on another note I am seriously considering the new MacBook Pro 2012 version. Especially after reading thisand this review.  Especially since i have noticed lately that the SSD in my Air is to small and I need a bigger internal drive.  When you have virtual partitions running with Windows 8, Windows 7, Chrome OS and Ubuntu even 256 GB starts to feel to small.
