Building my command center

One  thing that I have been wanting to do lately is to build my own command center. I have one Windows  7 based desktop that has 32 GB of RAM and an Intel Core i7 3.8 GHZ CPU. An awesome setup but so far I have the parts for a second Windows based desktop but there are two things that I am currently missing a motherboard and a monitor.  That’s why I have ordered a new M-ATX motherboard that should hopefully arrive by friday (have an awesome computer case that I plan on putting it in and can not wait to share more about it).

The setup that I am planning is to have two 27 inch monitors on my desk. One connected to my media computer and second one that is connected to my ‘work’ PC.  This is the setup that I am planning use more extensively. You can also say that it is easier to motivate these setups when the two things that you are missing is a motherboard and a monitor..  These cases that I will be using are from NZXT. Can not wait to share more about these when I start publishing my reviews of these cases.

There is also a second reason why I want to do this. As it is right now I store both media and work information on my desktop so that when one computer crashes I loose everything. That is what I want to avoid by doing this.

What do you think? Interested in hearing more when I publish the results?:-)
