Plantronics Voyager Pro UC2 review

I have been using the Plantronics Voyager Pro UC2. It is priced at 199 US Dollar but so far it is really worth it. They Voyager Pro UC2 headset comes with a dongle so that you connect it to your computer you get better audio quality.

I have been using this headset now for these last two weeks and so far it has really been awesome. What excites me the most about this headset is that it has new sensor technologies from Plantronics. In fact this headset has convinced that this is one headset that in fact will not end up in my drawer.

My favorite function is perhaps auto answer – it really is an awesome function. You do not no longer need to remember what button you should press for everything to work. The smart call function is perhaps my new most favorite function. If you forget the headset in your bag it routes the call through your phones speakers. A function that I have really come to like is the auto call locking – if you lock the headset while you have it in your bag you do not need to worry about calling someone by accident. A function that I have come to appreciate lately is how it pauses the media when you are currently playing music and removing the headset it pauses the music for you.

This headset comes with a small adapter that you plug into your computer to get better audio streaming when using it with audio calls. In fact i have used it with both a Windows PC and a Mac and have found it to perform flawlessly.. The voice quality is both clear and crisp. I have used this headset in a range of different environments and found that it has worked excellent for me. Perhaps t would have been nice to get the volume even higher. As an user option?

What is cool with this headset is that you can have it connected to both your phone and your desktop at the same time. In fact if your currently on your phone it will update your Skype status that you are currently busy and on the phone.

The battery life on the Voyager Pro uC2 is rated for five hours and six days. So far this seems pretty accurate for me.. With moderate usage I have found that the headset lasts without any issues for at least a couple of days. So far this headset has really been an excellent headset. In fact it is the first headset that I have not put back in my drawer.
