Rupert Murdoch called out Google as ‘Piracy Leader’ on Twitter.  He followed up this tweet with another one that the company is a great company and that he has only one complaint about it and that he searched Google for links to watch the latest Mission Impossible movie on the internet.  He also refers to SOPA as “”So Obama has thrown in his lot withSilicon  Valley paymasters who threaten all software creators with piracy, plain thievery

The problem for me that I see here is that the issue is when we start to filter the content on the web. That would more hurt innovation then to push it forward.

You have to wonder about all this when Rupert Murdoch pioneered paywalls around his websites such as the New York Times.
